Tasty Bhindi

Bhindi/ Okra is great on flavors, tasty and healthy recipe. It goes well with roti and rice.

Step by Step recipe:

  • In a pan on a medium flame add 2 spoon oil, let it heat, add ½ tsp coriander seeds, 3-4 chopped garlic cloves, 2 chopped green chili, stir fry.
  • Further add 1 chopped onion, add ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp salt, add chopped bhindi and mix it all together.
  • Cover with lid, let it cook for 3 minutes.
  • Check once if cooked, Add 1 chopped tomato, cover it again and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot with coriander garnish on top.

Ingredients:

  • Bhindi 200 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Onion(chopped) 1
  • Tomato(chopped) 1
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds ½ tsp
  • Oil 2 spoons
  • Garlic cloves 3-4
  • Green chili (chopped) 2
  • Coriander leaves
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
