Stuffed capsicum

Stuffed bell pepper/capsicum is a very famous recipe across the World. Capsicum filled with Potato stuffing covered with lots of cheese makes it more than delicious and it’s a family favorite too, especially among kids.

Preparation:

  • Wash and cut capsicum in to two pieces take out all the seeds , Chop 1 onion, 1 green chili.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add 3-4 chopped garlic cloves, 1 chopped green chili, ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp cumin seeds, 1 chopped onion.
  • Sauté till golden brown.
  • Add mashed boiled potatoes and sauté
  • Add ½ cup boiled peas. Add ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ lemon juice to it and all together.
  • Let it cool for some time. Fill this stuffing to capsicum and add grated mozzarella cheese on the top.
  • Bake this for 15 minutes at 180 degree and serve hot.

Ingredients:

  • Capsicum 2
  • Potato (boiled) 2-3
  • Green peas (boiled) ½ cup
  • Onion (chopped) 1
  • Red chili powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • Green chili 1
  • Garlic cloves 3-4
  • Lemon juice 2tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 2-3 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese ½ cup
