Shahi Palak Paneer

Shahi Palak Paneer is green colored very popular Indian dish of cottage cheese in a mild, spiced, smooth spinach gravy with spices. Usually served with roti, paratha or naan.

Step by Step Recipe:

  • Wash and boil Chopped spinach in ½ cup of water..
  • Grind spinach to make a fine paste..
  • Take a pan, on a medium flame add 1 tsp oil,1tsp butter,1/2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp chopped garlic,1-2 chopped chili, 1 chopped onion.
  • Let it cook till onion changes its color, add ½ tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp coriander powder, 1tsp salt. Let it cook for 1 minute.
  • Add 2 tsp curd, stir fry and add 1 chopped tomato. Stire fry.
  • Add spinach paste. Mix it well, cover the lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add paneer pieces and serve it hot.

Ingredients:

  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Paneer 50 gm
  • Tomato 1 chopped
  • Coriander powder For garnish
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tspp
  • Butter 1 tsp
  • Spinach 200 gm
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Green chili 1-2 chopped
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Curd 2 tsp
