Shahi Palak Paneer
Shahi Palak Paneer is green colored very popular Indian dish of cottage cheese in a mild, spiced, smooth
spinach gravy with spices. Usually served with roti, paratha or naan.
Step by Step Recipe:
- Wash and boil Chopped spinach in ½ cup of water..
- Grind spinach to make a fine paste..
- Take a pan, on a medium flame add 1 tsp oil,1tsp butter,1/2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp chopped garlic,1-2
chopped chili, 1 chopped onion.
- Let it cook till onion changes its color, add ½ tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp coriander powder, 1tsp
salt. Let it cook for 1 minute.
- Add 2 tsp curd, stir fry and add 1 chopped tomato. Stire fry.
- Add spinach paste. Mix it well, cover the lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add paneer pieces and serve it hot.

- Paneer 50 gm
- Tomato 1 chopped
- Coriander powder For garnish
- Salt 1 tsp
- Garam masala 1 tspp
- Butter 1 tsp
- Spinach 200 gm
- Onion 1 chopped
- Green chili 1-2 chopped
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Curd 2 tsp
