Multigrain Spinach Dosa

Multigrain spinach dosa is a good protein rich breakfast option to start your day. Do try this recipe if your children refuse to eat lentils or green vegetables. This breakfast will fulfill all nutrition requirements for the day.

Step By Step Recipe:

  • Drain off water from all soaked lentils, oats and rice.
  • In a mixer add 1 cup soaked green dal and grind it to make smooth paste.
  • Take it out in a mixing bowl. Further add ½ cup soaked channa dal, ½ cup soaked rice, ½ cup soaked oats, 4-5 chopped garlic cloves, 2 green chili, coriander leaves and ½ cup of water.
  • Grind it to make a fine paste.
  • Now add 1 cup washed spinach , 1 tsp cumin,1 pinch hing, 1 tsp coriander seeds and grind it.
  • Add this mixture to mixing bowl also and mix all these mixtures to make a paste.
  • Take a pan, on medium flame add 1tsp oil and 1 serving spoon of batter, spread it in circular motion and cook from both sides.
  • Dosa is ready to enjoy with coconut chutney.

Ingredients :

  • Green Moog daal (Soaked) 1 cup
  • Channa dal (soaked) ½ cup
  • Oats ½ cup
  • Rice (soaked) ½ cup
  • Spinach 1 cup
  • Salt ½ tsp/to taste
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Garlic cloves 4-5
  • Ginger ½ inch
  • Green chili 2-3
  • Coriander leaves 2-3 tsp
  • Hing 2 pinch
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili ½ tsp
  • Oil
